Jen is responsible for training all staff and volunteers in species ID and survey techniques, as well as overseeing marine and terrestrial projects including coral reef monitoring surveys. She is also coordinating the community projects in the village of Sarteneja.
Jen is a biology graduate from Southampton University and a PADI Divemaster. Since graduating she has mostly worked in South East Asia for a company coordinating environmental education school field trips. She has previously volunteered on primate rehabilitation and coral reef monitoring projects, and has also worked in the UK for a year, assessing the environmental sustainability of second generation biofuel crops. Jen joined the BV Belize team in January 2011.
