BV volunteer wins top prize in national photography contest

London, UK, 17 April 2009 (Daily Telegraph) Blue Ventures Madagascar volunteer, Matt Hudson, wins top prize in the Daily Telegraph national travel photo competition.

Matt Hudson, age 24, a volunteer on an expedition to Andavadoaka, Madagascar in September 2008, took the photograph whilst carrying out research with marine conservation NGO Blue Ventures. The image is of a tiny porcelain crab which Matt spotted hiding in an anemone whilst he was was surveying a reef.

This isn't the first time that the photograph has won an accolade - it also won a prize in a competition run by PADI Sports Diver magazine for underwater photography in warm-water.
