"At a national fisheries workshop convened by Blue Ventures and the MSC, the octopus fishery decided to build its own Fishery Improvement Plan. The collaboration with Blue Ventures is a model we plan to repeat elsewhere, and is just one example of the MSC's fishery outreach work around the world. It shows how our program can help partners to reach and support fishing communities facing severe economic and environmental challenges."
