Graphic/Web Designer
Are you interested in assisting a marine conservation charity with its web design, marketing or data visualisation? Blue Ventures is looking for talented web & graphic designers to help with ongoing design projects.
These roles are remotely-based and ideally part-time. Positions are voluntary, although certain expenses will be covered. It is desirable if you have a background or interest in biological/marine science, but not necessary.
Web designers
We're looking for volunteers to help us create new website templates or help us implement new features on our current websites.
We're looking for volunteers with knowledge of some of the following: CSS, HTML, PHP, Flash, AJAX, & Javascript. It would be advantageous if you have previously developed templates and content for content management systems (CMS), in particular Wordpress, Joomla & Drupal.
GIS/Data visualisation volunteers
We are developing a number of mapping and data visualisation projects for the web. If you have previously used ArcGIS, Google Maps, Google Fusion Tables, or Google Earth, and you're happy with Excel (and pivot tables), please contact us on the email address below.
Graphic designers
We are looking for graphic design volunteers who have experience in developing wireframes and designs for websites, or have created art-directed content for the web.
