Nick graduated in 2009 with a BSc in Marine Biology & Oceanography from the University of Wales, Bangor. After this he went on to complete a Masters in Marine Science (also at Bangor) in which he spent 8 months researching the habitat selection and preference of the Southern stingray on a remote atoll off the coast of Belize.
Since graduating from his Masters Nick has spent some time working as a commercial diver and in 2011 worked as a marine research officer for a conservation organisation based in Fiji where he initiated several community workshops based around the consequences of overfishing shark populations.
Nick is an enthusiastic underwater photographer and is very much looking forward to spending 2012 working as a Field Scientist for Blue Ventures in Madagascar.
