Emile travels throughout Velondriake, working with local communities to monitor their fish, mangrove, and octopus reserves. This program allows community members to see first-hand the efficacy of these reserves and increases their desire to continue and expand existing reserves. Emile offers community health education on the village outreach tours and coordinates the Junior Reporters Club, utilising a range of journalistic tools such as radio and peer interviews for environmental education.
Emile is from the village of Andavadoaka and has helped Blue Ventures in the past with social surveys.
