Joeline travels throughout Velondriake, working with local communities to monitor their fish, mangrove, and octopus reserves. This program allows community members to see first-hand the efficacy of these reserves and increases their desire to continue and expand existing reserves. Joeline is responsible for the logistics of the Saturday Schools initiative and acts as a peer educator in community health outreach.
Joeline is from the village of Andavadoaka and has helped Blue Ventures in the past with social surveys.
