Edgar Aguilar

Edgar Aguilar

Cook

Sarteneja, Belize

Edgar moved to Sarteneja from El Salvador when he was very young, and completed his primary education at the local school. After school Edgar began to work on the Sartenejan sailing boats. He tried his hand at all the jobs on board, including cook, fisherman and assisting the captain. Edgar joined Blue Ventures in November 2011 as night watchman, and in 2013 became the expedition cook. His delicious tortillas earned an instant reputation!
