Sam has a wealth of experience, having worked for conservation research and education projects in Mexico, Cambodia and Malaysia. He earned his PADI Dive Master in Croatia and completed his instructor course in Mexico in 2009. He has over 1,000 marine survey dives and over 100 certifications, including 30 Dive Masters and 40 Rescue Divers.

Sam gained a BSc in Marine and Freshwater Biology at the University of Essex, and an MSc in Applied Marine Science from the University of Plymouth. He loves travelling and playing the guitar.
