Within the Blue Forests team, Trevor is responsible for all things geospatial, including the acquisition, preparation, processing, modelling and analysis of a wide range of socio-economic and environmental data-sets and remotely sensed (e.g., satellite) imagery. Trevor also designs, implements and oversees the ecological surveys and mangrove carbon stock inventories. In addition, Trevor helps with overall project and team-member oversight and management.
Fuelled by his strong interest in forest dynamics and the associated agents, drivers and underlying causes, Trevor joined the Blue Forests team in July, 2011. Before joining the team, Trevor spent the previous decade mapping the distribution, composition, structure and dynamics of forested environments in New York, Massachusetts, Alberta and British Columbia.
