An agro-economist by training, Aude has developed a strong interest and skills in natural resource management and climate change throughout her work experiences. Before joining BV in January 2013, she worked on several projects at the intersection of agricultural development, natural resources management and climate change with the FAO in Brazil, the IRD in Vietnam and CIRAD in Madagascar. In Madagascar, she spent six month in 2011 analysing the drivers of deforestation of community-managed forests, with a particular focus on charcoal production, at the periphery of Ankarafantsika National Park in the Majunga area.
Aude is the REDD+ Project Coordinator for the Northwest and is based in Ambanja. She is responsible for setting up and managing BV's first large-scale Mangrove REDD+ project in the northwest.
