After falling in love with the sea and understanding the increasing pressures upon it, Erika decided to move into Marine Conservation. She has relevant field experience that includes reef monitoring and marine research programs for Global Vision International in the Caribbean and Operation Wallacea in South Sulawesi, Indonesia. Erika is looking forward to starting a MSc in Marine Biology and Ecology at James Cook University, Australia next year.
