FIP & Fisheries Coordinator
Andavadoaka, Madagascar

Catherine obtained her bachelors in environmental sciences with a specialisation in biodiversity and conservation from McGill University in Canada. She has worked with invasive green crabs on the east coast of Canada and has spent 6 months volunteering as a research and divemaster intern for an NGO in Southwest Madagascar. There, she assisted the team in conducting underwater visual censuses quantifying fish, benthic and invertebrate abundance in addition to taking part in education and alternative livelihoods projects and completing her Assistant Instructor course.
