Northwest Regional Manager
Ambanja, Madagascar
Cécile is responsible for overseeing Blue Ventures’ activities in the northwest of Madagascar, providing a regional vision and leadership in building the capacity of communities for coastal and marine resource management, as well as managing outreach to partners.
Before joining BV in January 2018, Cécile was working with the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) in Mexico and with the French research centre CIRAD in the Brazilian Amazon to support nature conservation efforts. She then worked for Conservation International (CI), where she promoted policies in support of nature-based solutions to climate change in tropical developing countries.
