In her new role, she oversees the social aspects of Blue Ventures Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning programme and supports teams in the field with their social research needs. A half-French half-Brazilian, Julia has over 8 years’ experience in the fields of social policy and international cooperation working for governments, international organisations and NGOs. As a social researcher, she has collected and analysed data or managed research and evaluation projects on topics ranging from mediation of family conflicts in Brazil to mental health and employment in the UK. More recently, while working in Madagascar, she discovered the work of Blue Ventures and decided to join the world of conservation.
