Njara Bemana Ranaivoson

Fisheries Projects Coordinator
Andavadoaka, Madagascar

Interested in conservation activities since he entered graduate school, Njara holds a master’s degree in remote sensing and worked previously in the mangrove areas of Belo sur Tsiribihina and Belo sur Mer. His curiosity led him to improve his skills in marine biodiversity and GIS. Njara likes to share his knowledge and connect with people. He started working with BV as a socio-organiser in January 2016, and since October 2016 he is the Fisheries Projects Coordinator for our work in the southwest. Being a member of the BV family is for him a way to help communities reach their development goals. Njara is happy to be involved in such an engaging project and to be working with communities. He is based in Andavadoaka, collaborating with all of the fisheries team members in the southwest and with communities across the Velondriake LMMA.
