She oversees the implementation and development of our community-based aquaculture model in the region, managing outreach and collaboration with local commercial partners. Before joining Blue Ventures, Pauline spent about 10 years in Brussels, working on EU environmental and sustainability policies. She then decided to take a break and explore new horizons. This break led her to the southwest of Madagascar where she first volunteered for Blue Ventures. The experience was truly life-changing. It confirmed she had much to learn from organisations working on the ground, and much to bring, thanks to her policy and coalition building expertise. A passionate advocate of people’s intelligence and ability to change for the better despite the immense challenges we collectively face, Pauline could not find a better place to work.
