Community Health Coordinator
Maintirano, Madagascar
With more than 5 years of experience in social work, Rinah has worked for NGOs her entire carrier, most of them around the city of Toliara. She holds a masters degree in social work from the University of Pretoria, specialising in social and human relations. She also has a license in professional training in social work for development, a DTS on technical social work and development and certified in tourism and hotel business. Looking to further her career in projects of international solidarity, her qualifications in the social sector led her to work for different NGOs.
“I am convinced that development projects rooted in the reality of everyday life and working in collaboration with local actors and civil societies are real assets that allow populations to be sustainable and function autonomously; Blue Ventures is an organisation that considers all of these key features and seems to be an enriching opportunity, both personally and professionally. I am extremely motivated and available to make use of my knowledge and experience within the community health programme. As a former advocacy officer, i would love to share that experience and make it useful to our work related to conservation and environment with the team.”
