She has worked for Blue Ventures Conservation for the last 5 years, including one year living in Madagascar coordinating our smartphone data collection projects. Since moving back to the UK, she has had multiple roles including overseeing the expansion of the smartphone programmes, the development of the UK grant management function and new team, and supporting development of programmes in Belize, Timor-Leste, Comoros and Mozambique. Her current role as Head of Implementation involves building the processes and systems to allow effective tracking of activities and finances against the organisational strategy, whilst providing strategic guidance and support to teams to ensure key decisions are made, bespoke technical and project management support are provided and teams are able to deliver on their site strategies. As part of this she also manages the UK-based grants delivery team, the country managers in Belize and Timor-Leste and provides strategic oversight and implementation support to conservation teams in Madagascar and Indonesia. Tori holds a Master of Science in Conservation and Biodiversity from the University of Exeter – Cornwall Campus and a Bachelor of Arts (honors) degree in Geography from the University of Manchester. She is also a Kinship Conservation Fellow.
