Hannah works closely with Blue Ventures’ partners and technicians in the field to help develop and improve their monitoring methods and data processes. Her role also involves designing systems to make the analysis and interpretation of data more accessible.
In 2014, after graduating from the University of Southampton with an MSci in Marine Biology, she joined Blue Ventures as a field scientist in Madagascar. Since then she has supported the development of aquaculture data systems, and has been writing reports about coral reef trends using Blue Ventures’ volunteer-collected data.
When Hannah isn’t poring over a spreadsheet, she is playing ultimate Frisbee or getting cold and frustrated whilst rock-climbing.
