Leo is originally from Tsihombe Androy.

He holds a master’s degree in Law, option judicial career and criminal science, obtained in 2013.

He started working for BV in February 2015 as a socio organiser for the sustainable octopus fishery project.

He had previously worked for several NGOs before joining BV.

In mid – 2016, Leo became a Community Liaison Officer for our sustainable fisheries programme in Teariake.

This role ensures the connection of the programme with the stakeholders (committees, partners, technical services, authorities, NGOs and local communities) including by providing technical support and training to the Teariake association and promoting gender equality by empowering women to get involved in the the sustainable management of their marine resources.
