Every six weeks our field site in Andavadoaka hosts approximately 12 international paying volunteers who come to learn about the marine environment and participate in active research projects. These projects are led by a staff that includes international ecologists, Malagasy biologists and social scientists. During the six-week expeditions, volunteers and the Malagasy scholars will gain valuable biological and social research experiences. In addition, the living environment promotes exchange between people from many different cultures.
